Scamacca gives Italy early lead but Kane and Rashford score twice to seal win for England
England came from behind to beat Italy 3-1 in their Euro 2024 qualifier at Wembley on Friday night. Gianluca Scamacca gave Italy the lead in the 16th minute, but Harry Kane equalised for England just before half-time. Marcus Rashford then scored twice in the second half to seal the win for England.
The match was played in front of a crowd of over 80,000 people and was a closely contested affair. Both teams had chances to win the game, but England were ultimately more clinical in front of goal.
The win gives England a perfect start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. They will now face Ukraine in their next match on Tuesday.
